Super Bowl Disaster!!!

The insanity….my beloved Colts lost to the Saints in SB44 31-17, after beating the Jets in the AFC final two weeks earlier… best way to describe it? Worst than getting dumped by a girl….. hahahah… but it was painful… good for the Saints and their troubled city, but it huts no less….. oh well…I blame the receivers, esp Hank Baskett for missing that onside sick….. butthead!!!!..... It wasn’t meant to be…. Best SB commercial???.... I liked the Betty White Snickers commercial or the Bud light commercials….. I did tie for the Manio football playoff pool after going 16-6… had a two game lead going into the SB, but I chose the Colts, over 56.5 while the second place guy did the opposite ….. thus, cost me the sole title, and only won $150 instead of $300… the SB is now the most watched tv show ever with over 106 Million viewers… don’t know how Connor put up with all my yelling and pacing and screaming…. Thanks to Deb for the awesome Honey Garlic ribs for supper… it balanced the cons of the weekend…..

This is the second weekend I have missed hockey since suffering my concussion on Jan 23/10 on an accidental hit by teammate Gary….. I literally have no recollection of the hit, or anything from the moment I stepped on the ice, to when I returned home from the hospital…. I have few flashes of memory that seem more like dreams than anything…. I tested it this past Wed by going for a light jog… however, I experienced light headedness and dizziness, so I skipped out…. Maybe this week….. I did get a chance to stop over and see Harv’s new place…… very nice…..

We finally got together for our Xmas get together on the 22nd at the Viet Rest where Bottoms Up used to be… we also gave our baby gifts to Wingnut at the same time….. still getting together after all these years…. Good times still a rolling… thanks to Shirley for paying for the whole, bloody table….

Weird having dad back….luckily it was only for two weeks, and he is off to Fairview……. Good luck!!!

Damn to Kim… after paying off the last lost bet, I lose lunch again.. yes, the Flames ended their 11 game losing streak, while the Oiler s streak reached 16 or something crazy….

Congrats to Marsha on her baby boy, Connor, on the 15th of Jan, I believe …. Happy bday to Patsy on the 30th!!!.. we went to lunch at Mugs for her bday… congrats to the best tennis player ever, on winning another grand slam title…. Bed-er-er!!!!!!... tv is all about Lost and its 6th and final season….. ohhh the excitement!!!!

Well… now its time for the Olympics….. please let Team Canada Men’s hockey team win gold… I wont ask for anything more…see, I don’t ask for much….hahahah
