Sushi & the funs of Prank call
I recently went out with Harv and Mike for our usual 6-8 weeks get together for all you can eat sushi. Man, can we eat. I actually decided to try to keep track of what we ate. We toasted off 75 pieces of sushi, 18 spicy tuna roll, two soups, an order of tempura, and an order of chicken teriyaki. Wow, that is a lot for three pple. Worst yet, back when we first started a few years ago, we would toast off over 100 pieces. Imagine that! Imagine how I felt when I got home and made it to bed..... oxygen mask required!
Than, there is the timeless prank of the crank call. The past few months, we been pranked by some kids, and we usually just quietly hung up. They even called one day at 2am!! Well, I got a call again yesterday. This time, I thought I would humuor them by not hanging up, and acting calm and all by striking up a conversation. I learned that there were actually 8 (5 girls and 3 boys) kids, ages 13 to 14, at a house party. I also confirmed that they had prank called me before, but this time, they actually thought I was cool. The whole purpose of crank calls is to piss the caller off, and annoy them so they would yell at you or hang up on you mad. Well, I figured if I didnt give them that pleasure, they would not prank me anymore. Plus, I got some interesting tidbits from them that if they bothered me too much, I would know who they were, and what number to call. Bottom line is, I wanted them to have their fun cause we all know we did the same thing when we were at their age, and it will continue with future kids. These days, we have caller ID and *69. Back then, there was no way to trace a call or anything. Foolish kids. Have fun kids!! For the art of the prank call, its timeless!!!
