Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father’s Day to my dad, a man I admire so much….. also, to the rest of the dads out there….
The past two weekends have been pretty busy and fun….this past weekend started out with me going out for a few drinks after work with Kirk and his buddies at the Crossroad Pub…. After a few drinks, the drinks ended…. I had an hour to kill before Deb and Connor finished watching Toy Story 3 before they headed for supper…. So I just went home to relax prior to hockey….
Sat, was quiet, as I just helped out with the housework….. Sunday was Father’s Day… headed to Kathy’s place for a Prime rib bbq…. The day was absolutely ideal… drinks outside, sitting around, and playing games with Deb’s fam…yes, I lost to Mikaela in horseshoes….. lets just forget that… the Prime Rib?? Absolutely delicious.. so soft and tender… no spices or gravy needed…. And my fav pie, Butterscotch pie….yuummm yummmm….
Monday, we had our softball game for the week…. Played awful and we lost both games to the Diamondbacks and Kruzers… but I did do well defensively in the first game when we ended up only fielding 9 players, and only lost 17-13….
Tuesday, met up with Kim for lunch at Viet Village… enjoyable lunch…sorry about what I did and for the bad news…live an learn…
Tues and Wed night, Deb went out to babysit and movie night with Christine…so I got to have the night at home alone, and with Connor on Wed….. Thurs, had lunch with Riz and Mike at Jap Village…. Food is delicious there..

The previous weekend started with drinks and fish and chips at Fiddlers Courtyard with Heather, Deb and Tito…must say, the fries there are amazing…the fish and gravy were also really good…..….. Sat, Deb and I watched the A Team… the movie was great….. mindless, action entertainment with funny stars…. I so enjoyed it… after that, Won and I played some tennis before we headed to Heidi’s baptism….. you go girl…. Glad I was there to share your special moment…. Thxs for the little snack afterwards….. thxs to Won for going with me….. Sun, Deb and Connor and I went hiking at Grotto’s Canyon just 10 minutes outside of Canmore…. While on the hike we realize that prior to reaching the waterfalls, the water was still iced over… we would have to walk into the water or ice to get to the waterfalls… so we just turned back and ended our hike short…. We headed to Canmore for a quick walk thru town before heading home…. Than we finished the night by ordering white man’s Chinese take out at Little City Rest…. Absolutely fab weekend….

During that week, my implant started with them extracting my front tooth… I think I made it a lot more uncomfortable that it really was…. Got about 14 needles or so, but only felt about 6 or so… my squirmishness was from memories of the needle I got in the roof of my mouth when I got my wisdom tooth pulled…. However, none hurted that much, and I sweated and worried too much over nothing…. Than the bone graph, than the stitches (which were pulled out yesterday)…

Now rain rain, go away….. hopefully the sun can stay longer, and hope they get highway 1 fixed, which was damaged by all the rain…. Bring on summer!!!
